Grandma (monk): 59, sassy, lovable, alway cleaning, heavy south twang, stay at home wife, been married for 35 years, perfect housewife
Grandpa (Rick): 57, loud, messy, clingy, provider, South twang, been married for 35 years
Minnie: 18, attitude, doesn't bite her tongue for anyone, loves her grandparents like they are her parents

 Synopsis
Minnie is at her grandparents house as usual. She lived with them up until she was 11 and moved in with her mom but still considers her grandparents house as a second home and is alway there. Minnie’s house with her mother is just down the street. Grandma is cooking but is missing key ingredients to make certain things but doesn't want to go get them.

Butterless mashed potatoes and Flourless cake
Act 1
Grandma: “How long you going to be here?”

Minnie: “Why you trying to kick me out?”

Grandma: “yes (she states sarcastically) no I am cooking and I want you to stay and eat.”

Minnie: “Yea I’m staying cause I want to eat and don't feel like going home to all that mess.”

Grandmas: “ok” (grandpa enters.)

Grandpa: “IS THAT MINNIE MY BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER? WHY HAVEN'T YOU CALLED ME TODAY?” (He hugs and kiss all over minnie’s cheeks.)

Minnie: “hey pawpaw. I just seen you yesterday and you did not call me.”

Grandpa: WELL OK I GUESS YOU CAN’T HAVE NO MONEY.”

Minnie: “Ok mawmaw you should make a cake.”

Grandpa: “YEA, MONK MAKE THAT POUND CAKE.”

Grandma: (Rolls eyes) “ok I am making pork chops, homemade mashed potatoes and green bean and a seven-up pound cake you can help minnie.” (state leaving no room to for dicussion)

Minnie: “ok.” (Walks in kitchen to start dinner with grandma.)

(We start cooking the green beans and letting them simmer)

Grandma: “ok you need to start peeling the potatoes.” (Minnie peels potatoes and give them to mawmaw so she can check over them.)

Minnie: “ I did good didn't I.” (with a smirky smile)

Grandma: “no, go sit down somewhere with your apple head. Let’s start on this cake.”

Minnie: “No, let’s finish the mashed potatoes. I will mash them you get the milk and butter.”

Grandma: (looks in the fridge with a think face) “ok we don’t have butter call your momma and see if she got some butter.”

Minnie: (rolls eyes) “Of course you don’t.” (phone rings) “momma do we have butter”.... “Ok here I come to get the butter.”

Grandma: “Hurry up and go while the potatoes hot and fresh.”

Minnie: (Walks to the car to drive down the street to get butter.)

Grandma: “took you long enough the potatoes done I just have to add the butter you get the stuff for the cake.” 

Minnie: (look for stuff to make the homemade pound cake) “mawmaw you don't even have flour.”

Grandma: “well call yo momma or go get some.”

Minnie: (huffs) “and the process of you cooking with the proper ingredient starts again.”
